GRAPHIC DESIGN

CBA is a comics anthology published by CBK Comics (C'est Bon Kultur) located in Malmö Sweden.

I recreated the whole layout and design for the anthology in 2016 and it is still used by the publisher (2021).

I wanted to let the art do the talking with minimal design elements throughout. For the cover, I chose to only put the logos and theme name on the spine, letting the cover artist have full control over the whole cover-area.

For the contents-pages I used a vertical block style, showing pages from the comics with (mostly) short presentation-blurbs from the artists, maintaining focus on the art.

The examples seen below are made by CBKs various comic artists, including me.

Jag återskapade hela layouten och designen för antologin 2016 och den används fortfarande av förlaget (2021).

Jag ville låta konsten tala med genomgående minimala designelement. För omslaget valde jag att bara sätta logotyper och temanamn på ryggen, så att omslagsartisten har full kontroll över hela omslagsområdet.

För innehållssidorna använde jag en vertikal blockstil och visar upp sidor från serierna med (mestadels) korta presentationer från konstnärerna, med fokus på konsten.
